Teams

Our aim: to run teams for players of all levels

We currently have six teams playing in local leagues in the summer season (two mixed teams, three men’s teams and a women’s team) and one in the winter (a mixed team). It’s our aim to ensure that anyone who wants to play matches has the chance to get involved, and we hope to enter more teams as soon as there is demand. If you are at all tempted to join us, please get in touch. 

 Summer 2022

​The local leagues are doubles leagues. The matches are generally played on weekday evenings.

​Mixed teams A, B and C in Divisions 1, 2 and 5 ​of the West Somerset League
You get a mixed rubber and a men’s/women’s rubber. The fixtures and results will be downloadable once they are available.

Women’s team in Division 2 of the North Somerset League
You'll find the team's fixtures, results and current league standing here once they are available.

Men's team in Division 1 of the Yeovil and District League
The team's fixtures, results and current league standing will be available online.​

​Men's team in Division 3 of the North Somerset League
You'll find the team's fixtures, results and current league standing here once they are available.

​Men's team in the men's division of the West Somerset League
The team's fixtures, results and current league standing will be downloadable once they are available.

​We also have teams playing in regional and national leagues. There are fewer of these matches. They involve both singles and doubles and are played at the weekends. 

​​Women’s teams in the Team Tennis Open
We have two teams in this competition: one at the regional level and one at the national level. They play six matches each and may also be involved in play-offs. The matches are on Sundays. Players play singles, doubles or both.

​Men's team in the Team Tennis Open
We generally enter a team at the county level of this competition. Players play singles, doubles or both.​

​Winter 2021-2022

Mixed team in Division 1 of the North Somerset Tennis League
These matches are played on Sunday mornings and weekday evenings from October to March. You play a mixed rubber and a men's/women's rubber.
