If you like playing singles, please get in touch and we'll try to recommend suitable people for you to hit with. We are keen to develop the singles scene in Taunton. We have quite an extensive list of players in the area who are interested in playing singles.
We run a singles ladder that is open to anyone to join, regardless of your standard of play, gender, age or whether you are a member of the club. There is more information on that in the column on the right. We run a club tournament every year and are considering introducing a singles ladder. Blackbrook Pavilion, where we play, is also the main venue for the Taunton Tennis League, a singles mini-league run by a third-party company several times a year. A number of tournaments are held at Blackbrook every year, which you can enter on the LTA website. If you're prepared to travel a bit for your tennis, regular indoor tennis tournaments are held in Bristol and Bath. |
